can anyone pls advise if i can use a v600 with the car. it is pre-wired with the timeport. Is it possible to use an adapter or plug to concert ????

 

You need a Mercedes Phone V60. probably a new PSE, maybe acompensator, cradle, and connector. The generic phone does not communicate with the car.

 

Gee when I saw "timeport" I thought Mercedes invented a time travel machine?

 

Mik of Mikbox.com sells an adapter and the appropriate phone cradle to make a V600 work with a Timeport PSE. I priced one for my 2002 C240 and the cost is approxiamtely $349.00. You can logon to his site to check on what yours would cost.
