I`am new on this forum and my english is not very good but I can try to expleaned my problem.
I own mercedes 500 sel 1985 and i`v got problem with cold start and idle problem.Last year I exchange right head - rebuilded end head gasket too. The mechanic won`t touch the other side - left one becouse as he said was good.After all my problem started . He miss to athached some vacums lines and I noticed he stoled some parts from me.The car wont start in the morning
and when start idle is too bad.I try to resolve my problem and I noticed that there was two vacum lines he miss.I find diagram and atached them but idle now is litle bether then before. I exchange the FUEL FILTER , FUEL ACCUMULATOR , FUEL PUMP , COIL ,IGNITION MODULE, OVP,ICV, ICM THERMO TIME and TEMP SENSOR and I put brand new fuel injectors holders and seals for them.But no luck.I mesured wires on Cold temp valve but I noticed there is no power.My car when stared I must hold my foot to gas pedal for 1 minute to get power and idling for few minute about 700 - 800 RPM but when warm over 1300 RPM. I try to adjust the mixture but when get lean it`s hard to start and drive when rich idle is very high.Only thing I didn`t chek is ECU and I think maeby this is my problem .Eny sugestion
