Lowering?

Up to year 2000 S-Class with contemporary suspension, yes it's pretty straight forward as any lowering can be.
Hydromatic suspension in W126-takes some tinkering usually by converting to normal suspension.
Hyrdomatic suspension on W140- Takes even more tinkering. Most people dont even bother, but it can be done. Some people go the same route as with the 560SEL suspension and convert first.
W220 and beyond, not too sure. Some people say it's not as hard as it's look and some say it's a PITA. One thing I hear that is common is with this particular model or all of them in fact you want to be precise, proper, and neat or you'll never get it top sit right and or will destroy the ride quality to Hummer 4x4 with studded tire level.
By wanting to lower you Mercedes I assumed you considered the normal downsides and up sides of doing so I wont lecture on it. If you do it youself, regardless of model, just make sure you have the right tools and the special ones too. Some of them cost a bit more but 90% of the time they will save you time, stress, a few fingers, and curse words.
Out of curiosity, what model are you plan on lowering?

It's a 2000 s500. I found out there r 3 ways of lowering u car. Computer program, replace ball joints, and the last is to manip the sensors by lowering the sensors by a few washers on both fronts and the 1 sensor in the rear. I'm gonna get it re- programed.
