Identifying vehicle
The electronic manual I recently bought from e-Bay (as advised by other members here) asks for various identifying numbers before it knows what car you have. I have got as far as Sales Model 140.057, Engine type 120.982 but they then ask for Type and Unit giving various options:
AG 722.362 W4A 055
AG 722.621 W5A 580
LG 765.940 LSA 075
LG 765.961 LSB 090
Does anyone know what these refer to or how I would find out which of these applies to my car?
Regards

RE: Identifying vehicle
Actually the column heading "type" sits above the AG or LG, the heading "unit" sits above the next 3.3 digit numbers and the column heading above the next six letters/numbers is blank. Don't know if that helps.

RE: Identifying vehicle
Now that is quite odd isn't it? Presumably there are quite a few differences between LHD and RHD versions, which it would be useful to know about when selecting which manual to use for maintaining the car, dismantling etc. One could just work in reverse, perhaps, but that's below MB's usual careful standards.
