The shop is telling me the compressor is bad. It has power to both sides,pressure in the systemis good,but not turning on...they told me at first it was a bad etr switch but after that was replaced the the a/c would not blow cold (was not prior that's why it took it in). $2000 for a fix!!! [:@]

they are using a Nipinezo(sp) remaufacture compressor @ $1000 .... any other less expensiveoptions??

I do remember reading about a way to get the a/c (e/c) light to turn off on a w210...anything for a 220??

Any ideas or TSB info would really help out...the guys at the shop do listen.

 

Just had to get my ac reset because the light was staying on on my S500... Had a code in the ac climate control and wouldnt allow the compressor to kick on. Have that checked out.
