Default Fuel Problem

I recently acquired a '94 S500 w\ a 5.0 ltr. engine and it has developed a bit of a problem. After running the car there is a strong smell of gas that appears to be coming from around the filler tube. There are no puddles of gas on the ground to indicate a leak and there are no fumes in the cabin area, or under the hood from what I could tell, so I'm at a loss. Any suggestions? THANKS!!!

Default RE: Fuel Problem

Possible lines at fuel filter are leaking fuel. fuel regulator under hood could be leaking, this would cause hard start/ extended crank times. or Evap trouble.

Default RE: Fuel Problem

Thanks for the reply chassis221. Sorry I didn't back to you sooner, but having a 6 year old on Spring break is keeping me busy!! Anyhow, the Little Lady starts just fine, so hopefully it'll be something simple like a leaky fuel filter, like you mentioned. Again, thanks for the reply, it was much appreicated!!
