I have been reading through many posts and forums hopefully to find someone that talk about the ESP BAS location on the S500 and still can’t find a thread that mentioned it. Can anybody please elaborate on the location of the ESP and the Bas Control Unit module in the 00 S500? Maybe of picture diagram on where to look in the engine compartment.

when you pop your hood, the ESP ECU is on the right side (driver's side) fusebox. There are two ECU's there, on one of them there is going to be a sticker and its gonna say ESP on it

I just put a new battery in mine and when I started the car, I got two malfunctions - BAS and ESP. The car was working perfectly before the battery change.

Am I to assume that ESP and BAS use the same controller, and these 2 malfunctions are related? I'm guessing it needs to be reset, unless they fried something when the new battery was installed...
