Default Engine poor idling and engine shaking

as many S class ive done...i found from time to time they have the problem of shaking engine and poor idling.- most of the time i found the fuel gauge at full or 3/4 full tank.

Ive diagnostic and found nothing wrong... its like fuel pump not functioning... even replacing it , it still the same...- the remedy for which i ve been advised was to pour in 200ml of 5-40fully syth engine oil in to the fuel tank. ive tried with S500,S320,S240,S600 and600SEL.

Amazingly after 5-10mins start the engine -its works!! Problem solved... -works properly 100% normally...- the funny thing is, when idiagnos the cars -i cant even detecting any fault codes ..

any advice ?...

Now my question is... is it safe? does it have any side effect ?

So far i dont have the side effects no engine shaking after i put in the engine oil only for 200ml 5-40 fully syth in the fuel tank.. i took the risk only to find out if the myth is true.

WOW, I'm sorry to hear this guys!!! Really I am! Have you all thought about checking the plugs and coils? Sounds like misfiring to me. Check any ways.

shaking and poor idling can also be caused by a faulty MAF sensor. Sometimes it does not throw a code, but my problems went away after i replaced it with a OEM new one

i had a nightmare with my s600. spent about 30k after i already paid 28k for it. i just recently had a shaking prob, and it was the air mass sensor. cost. $380 at dealer and took 5 min to replace. it could also be a fuel filter and spark plugs. if u can try to look around for a problem but if you'd like u could start with simple things like changing oil or fuses of filters things like this
