Default Check Engine Light

Hello everyone,
My check engine light has been on for quite a while now. I always assumed that it was just the 02 sensor. I finally changed the sensor and to my shagrin, the light remained. I would like to hook up to one of those on board diagnostic (obd) machines and see what it says. If anyone has any information on this or just has a guess as to what is causing the light to remain on, please feel free to speak up.

the O2 sensor if functioning as intended.

it's just a sensor to tell you that your car is running lean or rich.

that's the reason why the check engine lamp is on.

you cant just guess at this stuff there is a reason why the light is on there is a code for everthing you need to read it first then make the repair it could be a code po455 which could be something as simple as you have a lose fuel cap
