I own an S430 2004. The air conditioner is notworking and the "AC OFF" light remains on. The AC can not be switched on. Help, it beginning to get hot!!!

 

there is a leak in the sysem or a faulty sensor....most likely a small leak...it has to be reset by the dealer...disconnecting the battery will not reset it...have the system checked out and dye insertied to locate leak and recharge sytem...should take approx 2.2 to
2.7 lbs r134a

 

The red light indicates the compressor is not running. You either have a bad pressure sensor, or a leak. Try the diagnostics
