95 s350 no start on incline

95 s350 no start on incline

like it says, it won't start when facing uphill, will start when flat or facing downhill. I jacked up the front end oand disconnected the fuel feed line, looked like a good steady flow. I'm at a loss? any help?

never hear of that before does the car drive uphill with no running problems?
