Do anyone know of anywhere that I could buy performance parts for my 560SEL. If I'm not mistaken they used to sell early AMG parts for the 560SECs in the 80s but nothing current has seemed to been made to fit the 560.

The Euro 560 pushes out a little over 300hp that's minus the cat converter. Rumor is that you can get that same rating with the cat buy switching out one of the mufflers for a straight exhaust but that will cause a little more noise. (I ain't trying to have a Benz that sounds like some 1970s 442 or anything. It ain't right.)

I just think that this 5.6 has a lot of potential and with aftermarket parts flying everywhere for just about anything, I just wanted to see if there was a way to upgrade without taking away the characteristics of this motor or car.
