when driving on good pavement all is quite but any cracks orsmallholes in road make a noise that comes through the susp. with a thud! this noise has just started being heard in the last3500hundred miles. sounds like its in front,the car has 68000 miles on it. been to MD dealer they check out only find bushing loose. did not fix problem.

 

IF road feedback "noise" has changed something is wrong.

Bushing LOOSE!! Possible but How, Why I would be asking myself. But it didn't cure the problem.

I suggest you get another mechanic to look the front? suspension. Could be wornc track rod end or suspension joint.
Normally last in excess 100k but maybe a joint boot has been damaged and water / salt has done its worst.

Very difficult to advise on noises without hearing etc.
