Started my 2001 S500 after work and after ignition it would not come out of park. Turned the engine off then tried to restart. The engine would not turnover. Dash lit up, prestart looked OK but engine still would not turnover. Thought it might be something related to anti theft. Had the car towed home. Replaced the battery two years ago, pretty sure it's not that. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Would appreciate some input. Thanks.
