My dad owns a year 2000 S55 AMG Mercedes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_W220), which has a built in car phone, with buttons on the steering wheel etc to control it, and a screen on the dash where he can scroll through the phonebook. I would like to integrate a new bluetooth setup into this car, so that when he gets in, his bluetooth phone 'talks' to a (new) installed bluetooth device, whilst still having dashboard/steering wheel functionality. I.e. I want him to use his new bluetooth phone just like he would as it came factory fitted, except that he doesn't have to take it out of his pocket, and he MUST have the same typical dashboard/steering wheel functionality to control the phone while driving.

I am aware of other less tidy bluetooth options, like a device which clips onto the sun visor etc, which effectively disables the dash/steering phone controls, but I am not interested in these.

If anyone has any info for me, or can point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated. I'm located in Ireland, but would happily buy parts worldwide if it means getting this sorted for my Dad.
