Can't get shifter out of park. Heard that there if a plastic locking tab that can be replaced by an inexpensive metal one. Can anyone help me to locate the tab, the replacement part and a how-to video?

Dont be afraid to try it and look at it this way. If mess hit the fan you would have had to buy a new assembly anyways. Usually one from a parted out car works fine and cost way less.

But i have no idea where to get the metal replacement. Hmmm. come to think of it, better find out my self just in case the Bentley idea doesnt work out as the w220 is an option.
