Question 2000 s 430 size matters..

I was told the S430 and the S500, were the same exp for the headlights and taillights, and a slightly smaller engine but I am sure the s 500 is longer..what do you pros say..did I get hood winkled by the way I still love my s430..changing the numbers ..anyhow..

Are you talking about the S430 and S500?

long wheelbase you get more room.

S500 a little more oomph, at the expense of a minus one mpg or so.

I drive a 1998 S 420 and a couple days ago, I started it and the car was just shaking like crazy whilst idling. After a minute or so, check engine light came on. I turned the car off, waited for about 2 hours, came back and started the car, and it was as smooth as it has always been. Now, today, I went to drive the car and it won't start. Ignition key won't turn past position 1. Tech came and said it's the cylinder head that's stuck. Any help please!! I could avoid the $700.00 dealer quoted me for the job with your help. Be free to write to my email too.

I appreciate your insights on this matter.

Tichie!!
