The temperature guage on my 1996 S320 is starting to hang around 110-115. Lately it has been very hot but, but normally the temperature gauge should be around 80-95. What could this be? It does not appear to be running hot because I have driven the car in heavy traffic and long distances with the gauge being this high.

 

mine is doing the same thing ??? also , my gas gauge goes crazy , sometimes it is working and sometimes it is reading empty ..

I think you guys need to do check up on the thermostats ? Temp Sensors?...Does the cooling fan works ?

 

yes , the fans turn on and off for me ... the car does not steam or fizz .. it seems to just be a wacked temp reading ... it seems that alot of the s series cars have this problem ....
