I have a 1981 300SD Turbo Diesel.
I was driving yesterday morning on the freeway, felt like I was cruising a little fast, looked down and all gauges were at 0 including my MPH but for some reason I could hear the clock still ticking. I get home check things out more, no brakes lights come on, no turn signal, no buzzer sound when you go to turn on the engine. my hazards work. Checked fuses all look fine. Any ideas?

My best guess would be:
#1. It sounds like you lost the instrument cluster ground.
#2. Instrument cluster circuit board toasted.
#3. Bad fuses.
