Does anyone have suggestions as to the best available repair and maintenance manual for Mercedes (in particular, the R500)? I have Bentley manuals on my other cars, but I can't find one for the Mercedes.

Ok, this link works for the 1999 model, but where are the others? I need a 2002 manual. Or, are these years THAT compatible?

there is AllData and its hobby version alldatadiy. just do a search. It is basically a copy of the MB dealer manuals. there is an annual fee but I find it well worth it since I do 95% of repairs myself.

 

Have you checked ebay? Sometimes you can find old official manuals there.
