Yep, Southern CA is big bucks country....So much money floating around that young, smartpeople can alwaysdevise a way for someof it to stick to their hands....Richer than many developed countries.... as well as the driving force of change in the USA.... Look to CA.... as they become more enlightened, some years later, portions of the USA follows their lead.... other portions/states are more resistant to change.... and many of its inbred crackers would probably egg such an exotic machine...

You'd be suprised really. I've seen a few slipping right below 400k at dealerships and on eBay. Maybe they're the earlier models with a few thousand miles though.

There are even less of us CLK GTR owners!
Do you have pics? Last time I heard there was only one in the U.S. and that was in Florida. There may have been another imported into California as well.

In the Chicago area there are a few dealerships that have SLR's, the coupes (brand new)are going for well under MSRP, my sales guy keeps trying to press me into buying one. Cabrio's are fetching MSRP or higher...if you can even find one.

There is only one or two CLK GTR Cabrios in the US, and I thought those were both in California, one is owned by a private collector the other is for sale at a dealership in Beverly Hills I believe. The last time Ichecked there are4 or 5 road going, registered CLK GTR's and CLK LM's in the US. Yes, I have lots of photos and video too, I drive the car and even take it to track dayswhere Ibeat the crap out of it.
