the extended warranties from the dealer cover electrical failure and any issues as a result of it aswell. So that should be covered no problem. Even if you didnt by the extended warranty some dealers will DSA it, which is basically covering it under warranty because of what the problem was and how close you were to the original warranty.

 

passenger heater burnt the leather and starting smoking @ 49,000 on my ml500. fixed under warranty, but i have heard it happening to other people on different ML forums too. so this was no surprise to me, now i am waiting for the tranny to go at around 60k like ALOT of other ML's too. but by far its the SQUEEKY brakes that annoy me the most.
