My wife and I are getting ready to order our first Mercedes. We are looking at either the ML350 or ML 500. The dealer is also suggesting the ML 320, but we are not sure about a diesel. Does anyone have any positive or negative feedback on these choises. We originally thought about the BMW X-5, but after driving the Mercedes, I think that is the way we are going. Also any information about where to get the best deals, and any information about extended warranties. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

We bought the ml 320 in March. I chose it because of the diesel. It's the greatest. Quiet, powerful and smooth. Plus, at present, in my area diesel fuel is 20-40 cents less expensive than regular gas. Current miles = 5500, average miles per gallon at 80 mph, 24-25 mpg.
