ML320 battery corrosion

AAA installed a replacement battery 4 years ago. I am constanly having to clean corrosion on the battery case. The battery out-gasses when ever it is park for a week or longer. Stains on garage floor and driveway. AAA checked tyhe battery and said the battery is ok. Any suggestions?
