Mercedes standard shop rate!!! PLEASE HELP
I brought my 2002 ML500 into the Mercedes dealership and I think they are trying to over charge me. They claim that they use the standard Mercedes shop rate and not the Mitchell or any other standards out there. Can any tech help
1. Valve cover
Parts suppose to cost $47 but they want to charge $61. The labor hour suppose to be 4.6 but they claim 5.
2. Power Steering O-ring
Parts suppose to cost $40.65 but they want to charge $56.35. The labor hour suppose to be 1 hour but they claim 3.
3. Stop Lamp switch
Parts suppose to cost $13 but they want to charge $17.
They claim the labor hour is $140 / hour. Any techs can verify if this is true?

RE: Mercedes standard shop rate!!! PLEASE HELP
different dealer use different rates min is at $102/hr , but the more hours sold the more it cost per hour , so 6 hrs will maybe be 750 instead of the 612 , as for labor times , the techs are the ones who determin that in the most part . give or take the stadard operation time. you can't compare anything from MBUSA to mitchell .
