maintain

I got my 06 ml500 as an used car and it is hitting 50K now. Do you guys think I need to buy a extended warranty or factory maintainness from the MB custom service?

cz, how long you planing on keeping the car? How much maintenance can you do on your own? How reliable was the car till now and the main thing, how/who was driving it?
