Vehicle is a 2002 ML500. I just noticed the speedometer is dim at night, so I imagine a light bulb is out. I'll pull the instrument cluster but would like to replace all the bulbs at once. I'd like to have them on hand before I start the job. How many bulbs is that?

 

check the dealer. they should give you a hand with that. it also depends on what bulb it is as well...

 

Basically just 3 large bulbs light the whole cluster, but there are small ones for fuel light and idiot lights. bulbs can easily be replaced, you just have to remove the cluster. which isnt a big deal if you're somewhat handy
