I bought a GPS on Ebay for the ML. I installed it my self. the only problem is the voice, it does not work. I did the setup on the setting and nothing.
if i'm listning to music, the sound fades out for a second and comes back on.
someone told me that mercedes as to program the radio for the gps.
can someone advise me on what to do.

when the radio mutes so you can hear the nav voice, turn up the volume with the radio **** and that will or is supposed to turn up the nav voice.

 

I think you may also have to hold down the NAV voice button when cranking up the volume. I had the same problem with my Navi that came with the '03 ML350 I just bought. You'll have to do it when the Navi is actually speaking. I still haven't figured out the difference in volume between the normal andmax settingsinthe Navi setup since I didn't have the MCS manual. I googled and found the answer about adjusting the volumen when the Navi is speaking.
