Default Fuel Gauge

I fill up the tank and it sometimes shows a full tank and other times it does not show a full tank. My tank is suppose to be a 19.5 gallon tank and when the fuel light comes on it only take about 13.5 gallons.

Fuel tank sensor.

List what year and model car you have and we might be able to help.

Had my sensor replaced on the first visit to the dealer.
6 gallons is excessive reserve. I am always using daily trip meter to clock 300 miles between fill ups.

So does this mean your problem is fixed ??

Or do you still need help ?

If so we still don't know what kind of car you are talking about
