Default Faulty Locks

I got a hitch installed by uhaul. I needed it to haul my boat. When pulling the boat in the water and disconnecting I go to leave my car parked and when locking the doors the door behind the driver acts up. When pushing the lock button all other doors lock but the driver side back seat goes up and down several times and it wont lock. I end up manually locking the door and go on my way. I have gone to uhaul and they claim they didnt do anything wrong and are not liable. I have gone to mercedes spent a good bit of money and they can't figure it out. Does anyone have some idea of fixing this problem? I'll take anything.

Uhaul didnt do anything wrong... this is a common problem.... You need a new door latch assembly....The door lock has a micro switch that goes bad....The lock doesnt know if its locked or not... So it will ratchet up and down several times because it doesnt know its position.
