Has anyone had problems with the exterior paint rusting on the front, windshield wipers, fogged up headlight, and peeling around the rear window frame ? I have a 2003 350ML I took it to a body shop which also does the mercedes body work who told me it was not from the road based on the spidering.My advisor at mercedes told me it was not covered because it was from rocks from driving on the highway. I just ran into another ower who had the same problems and got it fixed by mercedes, so I quess my advisor was wrong, who do I contact now at mercedes about this ? I have 39,000 miles and do not drive on the highway that much.
So I find it a little hard to believe, I lifted the hood and found some rust spot around the edge so it does not make sense to me. The windshield wipers also have caroded spots.
