DVD NAV install question.

DVD NAV install question.
I've installed everything on my 2000 ML 320 and the DVD navigation is up and running. The only thing is that it's not picking up any satellites. I sat in the Home depot parking lot for like 20 minutes and nothing.
I plugged the cable from the back of the MCS into the "GPS" slot in the splitter/amp and then I plugged the other cable (prewired from the antenna) into the "Antenna" slot in the splitter/amp. I assume this is not the problem because I reversed the setup of these cables and still not satellites picking up.
It was a clear night too!
Any suggestions?

DVD NAV install question.
Hi bzl763, I believe you need to have the dealership version code your nav system. Most of the people on the forum say it's free, but you may have to pay some money for this procedure. This is need to that your nav system is registered into the car computer.

I am also interested in setting up a nav system for my ML 350. I want to know where you got the nav module and instructions on how to install it yourself.
