I have a beautiful 2003 W163 ML350 with 190,000 miles getting a little long in the tooth and have been searching for a replacement for a few months but keep ending up frustrated because it's just such a damn good car. One of my frustrations is that the newer ML's or M-Class autos have done away with rear climate control for the back-seat plebs. I rarely get the pleasure of riding in my own back seat but love to fiddle with the climate control protruding from the center console. Not only are there vent fans but also separate controls for fan speed and temperature which I think is really unique to this year and model. Correct me if i'm wrong but even the expensive brand new Mercs don't have this 15-year old luxury feature?
