Default 2006 Ml350 problems

I just recently bought my ML350 and have come to this forum for help. The problems that I have encountered are:

1:The fuel gauge suddenly goes down to empty even though I still have more than half a tank left. Goes back to normal after I leave the engine off for a while.

2: When I try to turn the engine on with my A/C on, my engine shuts off. I'm thinking the engine is working too hard but even my toyota doesn't shut down on me just because I have my A/C on. I even have Hyundai that doesn't shut down on me.

I had similar fuel guage problems with my CLK320 (twice) which Mercedes acknowledged & replaced, haven't had that problem yet on my ML350. On your other problem, my ML350 didn't start once but not sure why - after 30 seconds it started.

I have another problem on my 2006 ML350 and I'm wondering if it's normal for this model.

Everytime I start up slowly from a complete stop the engine always seems to rev too much while shifting through 1-2-3 gears. It's very annoying, the car runs fine but it always sounds like when a clutch is slipping slightly or a bad driver is shifting a manual transmission - it gets on my nerves so much I wish I hadn't bought this vehicle.

I dont know much about the 06 ML but the older ML's had a lot of problems with the fuel tank Level sensors. Also i dont know if the new ML's have the winter and summer modes for the transmissions. you might have your tranny set to winter mode thats why it seems like your slipping. Hope this helps
