My CD player stopped working. So, I opened the cd Changer and try to eject it. But it did not work. So I unpluged the wire to reset it. After I plug it back, it seems ok. Now there is power on the unit and is able to insert CD.

However, When I select CD on control panal, it is saying ''no cd installed''.

There is power in the CD changer unit and is able to take out the cd and insert.

Please suggest how to fix this problem.

 

My guess would be bad connection by the CD changer or behind the main unit in control panel.

 

there should be a number that you input into the radio and the CD is then recognized. happens when you disconnect the battery for any period of time.

 

What you are talking about is a security code for your radio to even start working. I believe that has nothing to do with the CD changer recognition.
