Hi my ml 320 has been making this howling sound every morning when i start it up to go to work. It only does it when the engines cold and once it warms up its fine. I'm thinking its power steering but I'm not 100% sure. If any one else has had this problem and has had it diagnosed or if you have any other ideas please right back.

I've also been having some problems with my over head lights. All my doors are closed but for some reason they keep turning on while im driving. Any ideas???

 

well if you wanna fix the over head lights problem, you could just hit the switch so they dont come on at all

 

Is the howling noise present without car motion? It very well could be low power steering fluid level. Ones warmed up, fluid expands and so it's level. I had this problem but my fluid reservoir to pump connection o-ring was leaking.
The interior light problem is very common on Chrysler's LH-body cars like '98-'04 Concord and Dodge Intrepid. Could be fault signal from door closer sensor on one of the doors. Bernard
