I have an 06 ML500. The headlight selector switch does not have any background illumination. Everything else on the panel lights up nicely and can be dimmed or brightened by the dim switch, but the headlight selector is dark. Is this supposed to illuminate? Makes it very difficult to select headlight positions at night time.
