2009 Gl320 bluetec's have no spare tire
11apr09(Saturday), Just purchased 2009 gl 320 two months ago (over 60K): Had a screw in a tire today, TPM alerted, contacted roadside assistance, they said they couldn't do anything until monday. They said drive it home. So now I've exceeded what's supposed to be on the ridiculous run flat tire, I would have put the spare on it if it actually came with one (totally unsat) and the tire dealer and the local dealership can't even determine how/if the tire can be repaired (no apparent education on their product branch). I'd patch it......
What kind of deal is this???
If I had a flat in Wyoming somewhere would I have been stuck sleeping in the car until monday???
Plus, I work the weekends. SO WHAT,...do I have to keep a spare car to just own this? Because if I do, this situation can go back to the lot yesterday!!!!!!!!!!
This experience has already disrupted my weekend because of a tire, and I still need reliable and servicable transportation.
Guess what, I'm not to thrilled with this situation at all.
Anybody else found out roadside assistance is a little smoke and mirrors?
The fact the Blue tec's don't come with a spare wasn't covered at the time of sale either......................
