it's not a matter of replacing Bulbs, but installing a whole new extra battery and a system that powers the ignition of these HD bulbs.
the switch-on flash lays somewhere between 12,000 en 20,000 Volts.
There are self-install KITS for sale over the Internet, varying between 600 and 700 EUR per set.
the bulbs alone cost around 320 EUR per set.
I think it's complete waste of money on an older car like that, allthough I must say I'm a very very happy driver with Xenon headlights. It lits up the road SO much better. Specially driving on the Autobahn in Germany, with very high speeds, well over the 120 mph and no lamppost beside the roads whatsoever.
but...
In The Netherlands there is a rule on Xenon.
When delivered as an option or standard ex factory, the headlights must have a self-leveling computer inside.
the bulbs change angle a few times every second, to keep the beam pointing to the ground instead of up, or too low.
Also a high-pressure cleaning system should be there to clean the units.
When building in Xenon afterwards, these things are not mandatory, but I've heard they still are in some countries.
In that case, something according to my opinion is un-doable to do yourself...

Get the real deal. Just a bulb replacement can be hazardous. To get the "look" you're looking for, the light from the bulb is filtered to give a blue hue. Because it's filtered, it projects less light. Your eyes will become strained quicker as you drive at night with less light than that projected by a regular halogen bulb.
As for a bulb replacement option, a Sylvania Silver Star bulb will give a tiny bit whiter light than a regular halogen bulb and is also a tiny bit brighter. It's still a yellow light and it doesn't look like a xenon or HID system light, but it's a bit whiter and brighter than most headlights on the road and a whole lot cheaper than a xenon or HID system. You can get them for about $20 USD per bulb.
