I am looking at a potential upgrade on my e320 cdi to a set of 19" amg rims but am looking to see what tire sizes anyone would recommend in order to maintain the need of not having a change in speedometer reading.

The rims are 19 X 8.5" front 19 X 9.5" rear

from some places I have seen 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear, but am not certain

Any help would be really appreciated

 

I think you're upgrading to the same wheels as on my '98 E430. The standard tyre sizes are 265/35 rear and 235/40 front. Although, I've just checked and the rim widths are 9J & 8J, respectively.

 

Sorry, I'm a complete idiot! I've just realised, mine are 18s, not 19s. Forget I even spoke!
