Hello all,
Just got a 2003 E320 and still learning all the features of the car. Bought it from carmax with 5 year 60K mile waranty.
Have couple of questions for now..

1) I only have a regular radio with single cd slot.Ido not have a CD changer nor a GPS. Is there a GPS that was made for this car ?? I would like to have an indash factory GPS that looked stock and clean rather having to go with TOM TOM [&:]. Apart from the dealer where can I find these accessories...

2) I have the VIPER Security system on my 300M. Can I get aftermarket security system installed on my e320. I understand you cannot install few security system on makes like mercedes, bmw, etc....

3) Any other cosmetic or cheap performance modifications that you could suggest ??

Anyone installed a Navigation or a CD Changer to their E class that didn't originally come with it... I am really interested in it... Thank you

 

Go to mbworld.org audio forum,lots of people have installed the nav system,pricey,Tom tom does fine and you can stash it when your gone.Youv'e got an alarm system and tow alarm and ignition lock out,why would you need more? Have you driven this thing at speed?My wagon lays down to 120,and is still pulling....don't think you need any performance mods,except for lighter wheels,tuned suspension,Z rated tires.your year model is quick enough right now to scare the crap out of most drivers.

oh wow - so many forums for mercedes hah... I also registered with benzworld.org, but mbworld.org seems to have threads to help me with my installation... thanks ohlord....

BTW - I was inquiring abt the security system - because the VIPER System has sensors that could warn you if the car has been vandalized or dinged by another car door and such....

the vibration sensors are amazing... I have that in my chrysler !!

 

the CD changer...the stealer can install the system...6-10 disc.. but suggest you check other installers... because it can get pricey$$ [8D].... if you want to mod your car..think of changing your springs and you r wheels..??I put 1" loweredEibach springs... the handling is fantastic....the ride is better....no body swaying.. and it looks meaner...

 

the connectivity for your w211 is MOST fiber....whereas the 99-02 used D2B fiber.....and the 96-98 used traditional/analog. so the response will make a difference.
