Default tuning... which one would you use??

I had a gentleman come to me looking for some more power, he wants to "chip it", or reflash I have done some searching and found power chip and speed inovations. has anyone used these, they are rated to make the same power but one is 400 dollars more.
thanks for the input in advance

Jessica, check out www.modernhorsepower.com . They flash both the ECU and TCU(TCM) of the vehicle. They reflash both, so that you are less likely to have conflicts with your vehicle. They just reflashed my c63 AMG, and what a difference that made. Even though the car is brand new, the rev limits, downshifts, and added horsepower have me in awww!

The email address I have for their AMG tech is sales@modernhorsepower.com. Let me know if you have any questions and I will see if I can help as an avid MB AMG driver!!

1999 E55 if they have done nothing to demand more air and fuel i.e. cam work, headers, valve work, induction they do not need an ecu mod lifting the limiter will only raise the top speed and they don't have the tires or the road or the ***** to go that fast in a bone stock 99.Raising the rev limit beyond where it is set without the above mentioned power adding items will only make the engine rev way past the power band that it falls flat on its face.Ask the guy if he is willing to have his heads modified and headers installed for about 5grand before he thinks he needs he needs to flash or chip his 55.
He can or you can reset his TCU for free.
