Default transmission Service Help

hello to all,

I have a 1997 Mercedes benz e320 engine 104 i belive. I wanted to service the transmission. Is it a sealed unit? If not there is a pan, is it straight forward to take off? Is there a filter which needs to be replaced as well? What kind of oil is used synthetic?

Also i wanted to change the cabin filter? Where is it located, and how do i take it off?

Thanks
Nick
