Hi all-
What i have is a 1992 400E with 126000 on it.
The problem I am having is intermitant flaring 1st to 2nd. Meaning its only happend twice in the last few weeks.
Fluid is good color and at the right level warm. Maybe time for a change. I tend to run it hard.
Once in a while shuders going into 1st. Once a month if that.

not just oil problem.

if the problem happens more often, have it overhauled and replace teflon rings.
