Telephone option

Hi I have a E220 yr 00.When I bought the car,there was no telephone inside but on the dashboard,when i press on the button for telephone,it says'Telephone option not available'.
Can anyone help me PLZ

I think someone already posted this reply,you don't have the phone option installed i.e. no phone so what do you expect to happen?
