Time for shocks, the fronts are worn out and the rears are getting there.

Questions... based on this list, what is the best... and what does the Bilstein description mean about "shorter springs installed"?

My goal here is affordable quality. Note: affordable. Not just "best". This is a 300E sedan, not a high performance racing car.

So what is the best "bang for the buck?"

Also, the boots covering the front shocks are sagging in the front... will these need to be replaced as well?

No I am not replacing myself; mechanic doing it for me who is not necessarily a MB guru - so don't suggest shocks that need alot of customization work out of the box please.
