replacing lower front beam bulb in 1996 E320
please help.....I have a 1996 mercedes E320.........I need to change the low beam front headlights bulbs.........the oval lights located just medial to the main headlights.........the high beam bulbis okay and working........it's the lower parking light bulbs which need to be replaced.........I have taken off the large plastic cover caps exposing the headlights inside the engine area.........but now, I can't figure how to take out the bulb???........the high beam bulbs are easily removed by releasing a wire clamp, but the lower bulb seems to be just plugged in below it.......and I can't get it to come out???........do I have to twist or turn it?........or just pull it???......there's no wire clamp on this one..........does anyone know how to take this bulb off???
thankyou, Mistermax808

Yes, the small bulb socket can be removed by a 90 degree twist counterclockwise.
Be careful, the socket is very fragile.
Are these bulbs available anywhere but the dealer? I am having trouble finding the replacement bulb.

read all about lighting ,what works, what doesn't work. What lasts the longest, the brightest, etc.Polish up the lens,on our 99 it has h7 high and lows,so the h7 65watt rally bulbs are safe to use in the h7 socket, last longer and are much brighter. He is like the professor of automotive lighting.
Worth a try.And the info you gain for free will really educate you on auto lighting.I never knew there was so much science behind it all.
