Removing inner door panel (124 (E220)
Hi all,
1/ I need to replace orgrease the tensioning strut on the driver door. How do I take off the inner door panel ? On my old 123 model, it had certain screws at the door handle etc,,,, but the 124 dosn't. I also snapped of a plastic retaining lug on the 123's 'paper rack' so don't want to do that again !
Any ideas on this also please ?
2/ Is there any wayu that I can get Two rear fog=lamps working ? Both light clusters have a bulb holder for this,,, but only one has a live feed to it.
Any ideas here please ?
3/ My sunroof is a bit sticky & has been since I bought it 3 years ago. It slides open o.k,,,, but when I come to close it, it takes several pushes of the button (& I sometimes give it a hand by pushing it forwards manually).
I thought that the gears/rails may benefit by a bit of grease,,,, but I can't see how to get to things to do this !
Any ideas please ?
4/ Is ther a decent manual for this model ? I have a Brooklands / Motorbooks version,,, but it isn't much good.
(((each question will be re posted with own title)))
thanks all

Door Panel:
http://www.mercedesshop.com/Wikka/W124DoorPanel
rear Fog light.
Only the left side works. That how all fog lights are.
There is no connection for the right side light, unless you do it yourself.
Sorry, can't help on item No. 3
4) Get the CD Maintenance manual.
Check on ebay
