Default remove rear seat..??

I have a 1990 190E 2.6L and wanted to know how i can remove the rear seats. I am installing a amplifier and i need to run the Positive(+) power wire into the trunk. I got the wire through the firewall and under the front passenger seat. but now i can see any way to pass it under or around the seat. There are 2 red clips on the rear seats. I push them in and try to lift the seat up but nothing happens... please help.

I did the same thing. Don't try to take the whole seat out..just pass the wires under the upholstery and to the right(in my case) of the back seat push the wires back behind the seatbelt..you'll feel a hole in the firewall large enough to push them through. If you RE going to take the whole seat out PUSH HARD while prying the clips back and pull up-it shouls slip right off.

you only need to remove 3 screws on each side to remove the backrest. up there is only 4 catch notches on which you have to slide up to remove and slide down to install.
