Default Radiator leak on 97 E420

My radiator just leak badly over the weekend when I brought it in for the smog check, is there a way to repair it, or may be anyone knows where I can buy the seal to give it a shot, any help would appreciated. Thanks

Radiator.com oe units from about 100 something range.Sealer might work for a bit but will fail and could leave you stranded.Where is the leak?

Hello Ohlord
The leak is on driver side almost next to upper hose neck, i can not see it but the water came gushing out, i think if from the seal.

From your description, at least I am not convinced that it is the radiator. Hose maybe? How about water pump.

I would make sure it is the radiator before ordering anything.

Ohlord is absolutely rightt. Patch solutions don't work in the long run and you will curse yourself later for not fixing the problem the right way.

Hello k_alavi
I don't think it's a hose because I remove and inspect it, no crack of split, the water will gush out at 1 inch below the upper hose neck, there is no water at the hose or the neck, just below it, I called 3 repair guys around the neighborhood none of them want totackle with itand if they do, there will be no warranty, i am thinking of open the crimp on the radiator to see what it's look like and if it's possible for repair but on another hand if I take it on a long trip and the car stuckin the middle of nowhere my wife and kids will nag me to death, may be anew one will do, if anyone knows the cheapest place please advise. Thanks

Radiator.com they have warehouses all over the place. You also need to make sure why it leaked.Did you overheat?A crack in the tank can be caused by excessive pressure so rule it out before you waste another radiator.
ohlord
dry it up and look for the crack, some radiator shops will braze a leaking tank.
